E ntonces el ángel del Señor vino a Ofrá y se sentó debajo de una encina, que era propiedad de Joás el abiezerita. En ese momento Gedeón, el hijo de Joás, estaba en el lagar, sacudiendo el trigo para esconderlo de los madianitas.

¶ And the angel of the LORD came and sat under the oak which was in Ophrah that pertained unto Joash, the Abiezrite, and his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
