D ébora acostumbraba sentarse bajo una palmera que estaba entre Ramá y Betel, en el monte de Efraín. Los israelitas iban a ese lugar, conocido como «La palmera de Débora», para que les hiciera justicia.

And she dwelt under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
