T iempo después, los efraimitas se reunieron para dirigirse al norte y hablar con Jefté. Y le reclamaron: «¿Por qué fuiste solo a pelear contra los amonitas? ¿Por qué no nos llamaste para que fuéramos contigo? ¡Ahora vamos a quemar tu casa, y a ti en ella!»

And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.
