» Cuando el Señor tu Dios los haya expulsado de tu presencia, no pienses en tu corazón: “El Señor me ha traído a tomar posesión de esta tierra por causa de mi justicia”; porque en realidad el Señor va a expulsar de tu presencia a esas naciones por causa de su impiedad.

Don’t say in your heart, after Yahweh your God has thrust them out from before you, saying, “For my righteousness Yahweh has brought me in to possess this land”; because Yahweh drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.
