L o encontró en un lugar deshabitado; en un yermo horrible y solitario. Lo atrajo hacía él mismo, y lo instruyó; ¡lo cuidó como a la niña de sus ojos!

He found him in a desert land, in the waste howling wilderness. He surrounded him. He cared for him. He kept him as the apple of his eye.
