Y aír hijo de Manasés tomó posesión de toda la tierra de Argob, hasta el límite con Gesur y Macá, y le dio su nombre, Basán-havot-jair, y así se llama hasta el día de hoy.

Jair, the son of Manasseh, took all the country of Argob unto the border of Geshuri and Maachathi and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.
