A lgunos filósofos de los epicúreos y de los estoicos discutían con él. Unos preguntaban: «¿De qué habla este parlanchín?» Y otros decían: «Es alguien que habla de dioses extranjeros.» Y es que les hablaba del evangelio de Jesús, y de la resurrección.

Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans and of the Stoics encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? others, He seems to be a setter forth of new gods, because he preached unto them Jesus and the resurrection.
