E ntonces la hija de Herodías se presentó en la fiesta y bailó, y tanto agradó esto a Herodes y a los que estaban con él a la mesa, que el rey le dijo a la muchacha: «Pídeme lo que quieras, y yo te lo daré.»

and when the daughter of Herodias came in and danced and pleased Herod and those that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it unto thee.
