D e la parte correspondiente a los hijos de Israel, Moisés tomó una de cada cincuenta personas y uno de cada cincuenta animales, y se los dio a los levitas, los cuales tenían a su cargo el tabernáculo del Señor, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

and from the children of Israel’s half Moses took one of every fifty, drawn from man and beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept charge of the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
