Jonás 4:2 ~ Jonah 4:2

E ntonces oró al Señor y le dijo: «Y bien, Señor, ¿no es esto lo que yo decía cuando aún estaba en mi tierra? ¡Por eso me apresuré a huir a Tarsis! ¡Ya sabía yo que tú eres un Dios clemente y piadoso, lento para la ira y grande en misericordia, y que te arrepientes del mal!

And he prayed unto the Lord, and said, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
