C uando la noticia llegó hasta el rey de Nínive, éste se levantó de su trono, se despojó de sus vestidos, se cubrió de cilicio y se sentó sobre ceniza;

For word came to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne and he laid his robe aside, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
