D aniel habló con Arioc, y le dijo: «¿Por qué este edicto de parte del rey se ha publicado tan apresuradamente?» Y Arioc hizo saber a Daniel lo que sabía.

he answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree from the king so urgent?” Then Arioch made the decision known to Daniel.
