” Pero en el desierto el pueblo de Israel se rebeló contra mí. No siguieron mis estatutos, que dan vida a todo el que los cumple, sino que desecharon mis decretos y abiertamente profanaron mis días de reposo. Por eso allí, en el desierto, les dije que descargaría sobre ellos mi ira y los exterminaría.

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they didn’t walk in my statutes, and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keep, he shall live in them; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.
