Lamentaciones 1:7 ~ Lamentations 1:7

J erusalén recuerda su aflicción y sus rebeliones; recuerda tantas cosas agradables de que gozó en los tiempos antiguos; recuerda cuando cayó ante el enemigo y nadie vino en ayuda de su pueblo; recuerda cómo la miraban sus enemigos y se burlaban de su caída.

Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction, in the days of her wanderings and her bitterness, all the pleasant and precious things that she had from the days of old. When her people fell into and at the hands of the adversary, and there was none to help her, the enemy looked at her, and they mocked at her desolations and downfall.
