P ero sucedió que, mientras él adoraba en el templo de su dios Nisroc, sus hijos Adramelec y Sarezer lo mataron; le clavaron una espada, y luego huyeron a la tierra de Ararat. En su lugar reinó su hijo Esarjadón.

As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
