E l edicto fue dado en Susa capital del reino, y por mandato del rey los correos salieron con toda rapidez. Y mientras el rey y Amán se sentaron a beber, en la ciudad de Susa reinaba el desconcierto.

The posts went out, being hastened by the king's commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
