E l día trece del mismo mes primero fueron llamados los escribanos del rey, y todo lo que les mandó Amán lo escribieron a los sátrapas del rey, a los capitanes que gobernaban cada provincia y a los príncipes de cada pueblo. El escrito se hizo a nombre del rey Asuero, en la escritura y la lengua de cada provincia y cada pueblo, y fue sellado con el anillo real.

Then were the king's scribes called, in the first month, on the thirteenth day of the, and there was written according to all that Haman commanded unto the king's satraps, and to the governors over every province, and to the princes of every people; to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people according to their language: in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king's ring.
