L es dije: “¿Acaso no fue éste el pecado de Salomón, rey de Israel? Aunque Salomón fue amado por Dios, y Dios lo puso como rey de los israelitas, y en muchos países no hubo un rey que se le pudiera comparar, ¡aun Salomón pecó por culpa de las mujeres extranjeras!

Did not King Solomon of Israel sin because of these women? Yet among the many nations there was no king like him. He was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. But the women from other nations caused even him to sin.
