p ero Necao envió mensajeros a decirle: «¿Qué tengo yo que ver contigo, rey de Judá? Yo no he venido hoy a atacarte, sino que vengo contra la casa que me ha declarado la guerra. Dios me ha dicho que me apresure, así que deja de oponerte a Dios, pues él está de mi parte; no vaya a suceder que él te destruya.»

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war; and God hath commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
