C uando llegaba el momento de que los levitas llevaran el cofre al secretario del rey, si veían que había mucho dinero, el escriba del rey y alguien nombrado por el sumo sacerdote venían por el arca y, luego de vaciarla, la devolvían a su lugar. Esto lo hacían diariamente, y recogían mucho dinero;

It came about whenever the chest was brought in to the king’s officer by the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, then the king’s scribe and the chief priest’s officer would come, empty the chest, take it, and return it to its place. Thus they did daily and collected much money.
