“ Si alguna vez nos sobreviene algún mal, o se nos castiga con la espada, o la peste, o el hambre, nos presentaremos ante este templo, y ante ti (pues tu nombre se halla en este templo), y clamaremos a ti por causa de nuestras aflicciones, y tú nos oirás y nos salvarás.”

‘If evil comes on us—the sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine—we will stand before this house, and before you, (for your name is in this house), and cry to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.’
