« Hagamos tú y yo un pacto, como el que hicieron tu padre y el mío. Aquí te envío oro y plata. Ven y rompe el pacto que has hecho con el rey Basá de Israel, para que deje de atacarme.»

There is a covenant between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father; behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha, king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
