E ntonces dijo David: «Salomón, mi hijo, es todavía un niño de tierna edad, pero la casa que debe edificarse al Señor tiene que ser una obra excelente, de gran renombre en todo lugar. Así que voy a prepararle todo lo necesario.» Y antes de su muerte, David hizo abundantes preparativos.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Jehovah must be exceeding magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
