C ierto general del ejército del rey de Siria, llamado Namán, era un hombre muy importante. Su señor lo tenía en alta estima porque, por medio de él, que era un guerrero muy valiente, el Señor había dado la victoria a Siria. Pero Namán era leproso.

Naaman the captain of the army of the king of Syria was an important man to his king. He was much respected, because by him the Lord had made Syria win in battle. Naaman was a strong man of war, but he had a bad skin disease.
