L uego, el rey se puso de pie junto a la columna e hizo un pacto en presencia del Señor, de que siempre lo seguirían y cumplirían sus mandamientos, testimonios y estatutos, y que con todo el corazón y con toda el alma cumplirían las palabras del pacto escritas en ese libro. Y todo el pueblo confirmó el pacto. Reformas de Josías

And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, that they would walk after the LORD and keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in that book. And all the people confirmed the covenant.
