E ntonces Elías le volvió a decir: «Eliseo, quédate aquí, porque el Señor me está enviando a Jericó.» Pero Eliseo le respondió: «Juro por el Señor y por tu vida, que no te voy a dejar.» Y los dos se fueron a Jericó.

Elijah said to him, “Elisha, I ask you to stay here. For the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.
