D esecharon los estatutos del Señor y el pacto que había hecho con sus antepasados, así como los testimonios que él les había prescrito, y siguieron a los dioses falsos, con lo que ellos mismos perdieron valor, y siguieron a las naciones a su alrededor, a pesar de que el Señor les había mandado que no las imitaran.

And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them.
