P ero Elías le respondió al capitán: «Si soy un varón de Dios, que caiga fuego del cielo y te consuma con tus cincuenta soldados.» Al instante cayó fuego del cielo, y consumió al capitán y a sus cincuenta soldados.

Elijah said to the captain of fifty men, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and destroy you and your fifty men.” Then fire came down from heaven and destroyed him and his fifty men.
