E ntonces el varón de Dios fue a ver al rey de Israel y le dijo: «Así ha dicho el Señor: “Los sirios creen que yo, el Señor, soy un Dios de los montes pero no un Dios de los valles. Pues para que todos reconozcan mi poder, voy a poner en tus manos a ese ejército tan numeroso. Así reconocerán ustedes que yo soy el Señor.”»

Then the man of God came and spoke unto the king of Israel and said, Thus hath the LORD said, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the mountains, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore, I will deliver all this great multitude into thy hand that ye may know that I am the LORD.
