E ntonces Elías se paró frente a todo el pueblo, y dijo: «¿Hasta cuándo van a estar titubeando entre dos sentimientos? Si el Señor es Dios, síganlo a él; pero si piensan que Baal es Dios, entonces vayan tras él.» Y como el pueblo se quedó callado,

Elijah came near to all the people and said, “ How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him a word.
