C on la madera de sándalo, Salomón mandó hacer barandillas para el templo del Señor y para el palacio real, y además mandó fabricar arpas y salterios para los cantores. Nunca antes hubo en Israel tal cantidad de madera de sándalo, ni se ha vuelto a ver.

The king made of the almug trees pillars for Yahweh’s house, and for the king’s house, harps also and stringed instruments for the singers; no such almug trees came or were seen, to this day.
