P ero como Asael no dejaba de perseguirlo, Abner tomó su lanza y le clavó el revés a la altura de la quinta costilla; la lanza le salió por la espalda, y allí mismo cayó muerto. Todos lo que pasaban por allí y veían a Asael tendido, se detenían a mirarlo.

And he refuseth to turn aside, and Abner smiteth him with the hinder part of the spear unto the fifth, and the spear cometh out from behind him, and he falleth there, and dieth under it; and it cometh to pass, every one who hath come unto the place where Asahel hath fallen and dieth -- they stand still.
