C uando llegaron los hombres de Absalón, preguntaron: «¿Dónde están Ajimaz y Jonatán?» La mujer les dijo: «Ya han cruzado los vados del Jordán.» Ellos de todos modos los buscaron, y como no los hallaron se regresaron a Jerusalén.

For when Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house, they said, Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said to them, They went over the brook of water. When they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
