C omo Onán sabía que la descendencia no sería considerada suya, para no darle descendencia a su hermano, cada vez que se allegaba a la mujer de su hermano derramaba el semen en el suelo.

Onan knew that the offspring wouldn’t be his; and when he went in to his brother’s wife, he spilled it on the ground, lest he should give offspring to his brother.
