D efiende tus pies de andar descalzos, y tu garganta de la sed. Mas dijiste: Hase perdido la esperanza; en ninguna manera: porque extraños he amado y tras ellos tengo de ir.

Withhold thy foot from being unshod and thy throat from thirst; but thou didst say, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them I will go.
