M as Jehová no quiso destruir la casa de David, á causa de la alianza que con David había hecho, y porque le había dicho que le daría lámpara á él y á sus hijos perpetuamente.

Howbeit Jehovah would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a lamp to him and to his children alway.
