M as el Siro huyó delante de Israel; y mató David de los Siros siete mil hombres de los carros, y cuarenta mil hombres de á pie: asimismo mató á Sophach, general del ejército.

The Arameans fled before Israel, and David killed of the Arameans 7, 000 charioteers and 40, 000 foot soldiers, and put to death Shophach the commander of the army.
