E n aquel tiempo Resín rey de Siria restituyó Elath á Siria, y echó á los Judíos de Elath; y los Siros vinieron á Elath, y habitaron allí hasta hoy.

Fue entonces cuando el rey de Edom recobró Elat para Edom, y expulsó de allí a los hombres de Judá. Entonces los edomitas vinieron a Elat, y hasta el día de hoy viven allí.
