Т ак одолел Давид Филистимлянина пращею и камнем, и поразил Филистимлянина и убил его; меча же не было в руках Давида.

So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck down the Philistine and slew him. But no sword was in David’s hand.
