ц арь Седекия послал и взял его. И спрашивал его царь в доме своем тайно и сказал: нет ли слова от Господа? Иеремия сказал: есть; и сказал: ты будешь предан в руки царя Вавилонского.

King Zedekiah sent for him and had him brought to his house. The king asked him in secret, “Is there any word from the Lord?” And Jeremiah said, “There is!” Then he said, “You will be given over to the king of Babylon!”
