Т ак говорит Господь: если небо может быть измерено вверху, и основания земли исследованы внизу, то и Я отвергну все племя Израилево за все то, что они делали, говорит Господь.

Thus hath the LORD said: If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, said the LORD.
