Бытие 26:7 ~ Genesis 26:7

Ж ители места того спросили о жене его, и он сказал: это сестра моя; потому что боялся сказать: жена моя, чтобы не убили меня,, жители места сего за Ревекку, потому что она прекрасна видом.

The men of the place asked him about his wife. He said, “She is my sister,” for he was afraid to say, “My wife”, lest, he thought, “the men of the place might kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to look at.”
