C înd s'a întors la Ţiclag, David a trimes o parte din pradă bătrînilor lui Iuda, prietenilor săi, spunîndu-le aceste cuvinte:,, Iată darul pe care vi -l fac din prada luată dela vrăjmaşii Domnului!``

When David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, “Behold, a present for you from the plunder of Yahweh’s enemies.”
