D omnul a chemat din nou pe Samuel. Şi Samuel s'a sculat, s'a dus la Eli, şi a zis:,, Iată-mă, căci m'ai chemat.`` Eli a răspuns:,, Nu te-am chemat, fiule, întoarce-te şi te culcă``.

And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
