O amenii lui David i-au zis:,, Iată ziua în care Domnul îţi zice:, Dau pe vrăjmaşul tău în mînile tale; fă -i ce-ţi va plăcea.`` David s'a sculat, şi a tăiat încet colţul hainei lui Saul.

David’s men said to him, Behold the day of which the Lord said to you, Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hands and you shall do to him as seems good to you. Then David arose and stealthily cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe.
