I ată-mă! Mărturisiţi împotriva mea, în faţa Domnului şi în faţa unsului Lui: Cui i-am luat boul, sau cui i-am luat măgarul? Pe cine am apăsat, şi pe cine am năpăstuit? De la cine am luat mită ca să închid ochii... asupra lui? Mărturisiţi, şi vă voi da înapoi.``

Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
