Î n adevăr, v'am făcut cunoscut puterea şi venirea Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, nu întemeindu-ne pe nişte basme meşteşugit alcătuite, ci ca unii cari am văzut noi înşine cu ochii noştri mărirea Lui.

For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
