C opiii lui Israel au păcătuit cu privire la lucrurile date spre nimicire. Acan, fiul lui Carmi, fiul lui Zabdi, fiul lui Zerah, din seminţia lui Iuda, a luat din lucrurile date spre nimicire. Şi Domnul S'a aprins de mînie împotriva copiilor lui Israel.

And the sons of Israel commit a trespass in the devoted thing, and Achan, son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, taketh of the devoted thing, and the anger of Jehovah burneth against the sons of Israel.
