s ă le spuneţi:, Apele Iordanului s'au despicat în două înaintea chivotului legămîntului Domnului; cînd a trecut chivotul Iordanul, apele Iordanului s'au despicat în două, şi pietrele acestea să fie totdeauna o aducere aminte pentru copiii lui Israel.``

Then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over the Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the Israelites a memorial forever.
