L a intrarea noastră în ţară, leagă funia aceasta de fir cărmiziu la fereastra prin care ne-ai pogorît, şi strînge la tine în casă pe tatăl tău, pe mama ta, pe fraţii tăi, şi pe toată familia tatălui tău.

Behold, when we come into the land, thou shall have bound this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by, and thou shall have brought thy father and thy mother and thy brethren and all thy father’s household home unto thee.
